THU/FRI: Keynote Production [Day 14 of 17]

 Your FINAL SLIDES 
 are DUE TODAY 

Your script should be done by Sunday Night 

 REVISIONS ARE ONLY GRADED IF LAB TIME is   productively used 
Begin Work: 
  • Turn in your Notification Form
  • Open your Event List and Keynote
  • Open "SCRIPT: 3x5 template" or have your own note cards available to use
  • Due THIS CLASS: ALL Total EVENTS = 14+ Slides with 8 being Complex SLIDES
TURN-IN to Google CLASSROOM @ EOC

  • I can continue PRODUCTION of my WHY AM I Keynote presentation slides
  • I can turn my notes into my script
  • I can submit the FINAL draft of my Keynote & continue working productively towards a graded revision

  • Everybody should be backing up to Google drive during every class - perhaps after you finish every slide!
  • The Lab will be open BEFORE SCHOOL most days - and will be open then more than after-school time. As of 10/25 there have been 410 before-school lab minutes...

Homework 
  • Your SCRIPT is DUE at the start of next MONDAY's Class - doing it as homework gives you more time to do slides in class
  • Do ALL of your THINKING outside of class
  • SEND PHOTOS to your school email or Google Drive
    • Or bring photos on a flash drive
    • Send or Bring the LARGEST FILE SIZE VERSION POSSIBLE

    • Continue an existing slide or...
    • Select another event from your brainstorm
      • Complete the writing portion - make sure you know what you are trying to "say" with this slide - these words are the basis of your script: what you will actually say on exhibition night
      • Collect up images from the internet - follow the protocol in this lesson
        • REMEMBER: Use the Image Search TOOLS and download correctly
        • REMEMBER: No WATERMARKED images
        • REMEMBER: No memes
        • REMEMBER: No images with words already on them
      • Make a rough layout of your slide and ask for feedback
    • If you get stuck...
      • Ask your NEIGHBOR
      • Ask your AISLE
      • Ask your TEACHER
      • Work on your script
    • When tired or "finished" have a neighbor explain their idea and how they are building their slide, then get back to work..
