Finding your reading level...

Purpose:
  • I can accurately determine my reading level and use that to motivate me to GROW as a reader!
Agenda:
  1. Silent Warm-up (class is silent): Go to typingWeb.com and do as many lessons as you accurately can in 10 minutes.
  2.  TeacherTalk (class is quiet unless called upon):
Today, for a major section of the class, we will be taking an online survey to determine your reading level.

*** READ THE ENTIRE POST ***
*** YOU MUST RECORD YOUR NEW PASSWORD ON
THE FORM BEFORE YOU TAKE THE SURVEY ***

The class must be absolutely quiet to allow everyone to do their best.
Your results WILL impact your reality.  If you goof around you will get a lower reading level assigned to you and you may be assigned books that are below your reading level, which is boring!

After you log in to the survey you will be asked to change your password.  When you change it please go to this form and record the new password so that I can help you the next time you need it. You will need this password 3 or 4 times this year.  Open the form NOW to get ready then come back here...

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dGkwTmprQ2J4c3l4ajBaT2FHN3ZEcFE6MQ

NOW: To take the survey click on the following link:
Username = The first letter of your first name and the first four letters of your last name. Example: jkitt
Password = abc

If you finish early you may do one of the following:
