TUE: Shot Types & Storyboard Worktime

Warm-up:  
  • If you have not already done so: Upload/share your one BEST weekend photo to THIS Google Photos Album (make sure you are signed in to your school account first) then type
  • or do TYPING.Com the whole time
Daily Learning Target(s):  
  • I can LEARN the different types of SHOTS used in video production and USE THEM in my REQUIRED STORYBOARD for my HOW TO VIDEO
  • I can UNDERSTAND the REQUIREMENTS of a proficient "HOW TO" VIDEO 
HOMEWORK & Other Deadlines:

  • EVERYNIGHT homework: 
    • Watch a minimum of 2 how-to videos
    • Experiment with shot types and test video for sound and lighting

  • Storyboards are DUE & will be checked for credit on Thursday 3/09/17
  • Test uploading of video begins on Thursday as well
  • Seniors will be pulling select 9th graders for an interview project on FRIDAY (15 minutes max)
  • You MUST FILM this weekend 
  • You MUST arrive to class MONDAY with all of your How-To footage 

The Week Ahead & Announcements: 
  • OFFICE HOURS TODAY ARE FOCUSING ON TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH UPLOADING PHOTOS AND VIDEO - NO OTHER OFFICE HOURS THIS WEEK.
  • No block periods this week
  • Career day Wednesday (in Advisory entire day from 8:30-12:55) 
    • Be prepared to be attentive, take notes, meet and talk to professionals, and explore possible career paths.
  • All classes meet on Thursday
  • Sunday 3/12 is Daylight Savings!  Spring FORWARD by setting any manual clocks one hour AHEAD when you go to bed Saturday night.  Your phone should update but cars, bedside table clocks, microwaves, etc. do not.
  • START BRINGING HEADPHONES EVERY DAY - but don't have them out unless you are told.
