Video Production: iMovie: Our FEATURE - Day 1

  • Get your SAILING PERMISSION SLIP turned in ASAP!

    • Don't miss any opportunities to film for your 'feature'
    Agenda:
    • Typing Web & Announcements [10]
    • Review Project Requirements [10]
      • EDITING of your Video must be done INDIVIDUALLY
        • You MAY have help in shooting/acting etc...
      • Video should be approximately 5 minutes long
      • Every clip must be appropriate
        • Use a variety of shot types appropriately to make the best film (and therefore get the best grade)
      • Must have storyboard as a rough draft
      • Should use use appropriate Transitions
      • MAY have opening titles u
      • SHOULD have closing credits
      • Bloopers can be added AFTER the credits or during the credits if you are slick
      • You must utilize the rule of thirds and use of lighting & sound as taught in class
    • Popcorn discussion/brainstorm [10]
      • Ideas we already have
      • Generating new ideas
        • What do you like to do? 
        • Where do you normally go?
        • What is important to you?
        • What makes you mad?
        • What do you wish you knew?
    • Choosing our idea [10]
      • By the end of NEXT CLASS you will have completed a [rough] storyboard of at least one of your ideas.
      • You will also create a production list/schedule listing everything you need to do to get this movie made
      • If you can't choose an idea now you MUST have one chosen BEFORE next class.
