THU/FRI: Featurette Planning Day

Do Now:

• Complete and check-in your STORYBOARD
• One square for each plot point or location change
• You should be able to follow the 6-second average rule in your head as you film & edit
• IF YOU CHECKED IN YOUR STORYBOARD LAST CLASS:
•  Complete it if necessary
• Write any dialogue/script you need
• Make SOLID plans how you can film
• Afternoons this week
• This Weekend
• Call John over to review your plans
• Put on headphones and READ/WATCH this article about camera angles (with examples from popular movies of the past)
• Want Extra Credit on your Mini-Doc?
• Volunteer to have John show it to the class today 

ANNOUNCEMENTS & RESOURCES:

• You have FIVE total classes to complete your Featurette
• John will be out Monday with the sophomores.  
• You will begin editing with Ms. Frantz as your teacher. 
• You will need to support each other.  
• Students who have nothing to edit will complete a reading and a written response having to do with film-making.
