iMovie SOFT START: The weeks ahead...
Between now and the end of the year you will be making three movies. The success of these films will depend on how much you prepare and do outside of class. Much of this work is to be done during the Portfolio Defense Minimum Days. As we work to finish our Photoshop Portfolios we also need to spend some time thinking about what films you will want to make in these three categories:
- How-To: What do you know how to do that you can teach someone to do completely in a minute or less?
- Public Service Announcement: What issues do you care about? Can you explain why others should care about any of them in 2 minutes or less?
- Featurette: If you could make any short film what would it be?
- School appropriate
- 3-5 minutes
- Only SCRIPTED, Edited films
- no "YouTube" style videos (no day in the life, no unboxing, no ASMR, no video gameplay, no extemporaneous films of any kind )
