Purpose: I will understand the Testimonio project requirements and start planning my project using an outline.

Testimonio Project Description

The Testimonio Keynote Project is where all your work to this point get's turned in to an explanation of WHO you are, and WHY you are.

The content for this Keynote will be drawn from:

• Your Bio-Poem and other readings and discussions in Facing History
• Your "Me" Photo (who do you want to be?), your Timeline Prezi, and your "Me" Keynote in DLE as well as the discussions we have had about life here  in Oakland and elsewhere, like in Pleasantville
• And, most importantly, your Testimonio from English
• Plus anything else you are inspired to include in order to let us, your audience, know WHO YOU ARE and WHY YOU ARE!

• Projects Must:
• Have a unifying THEME, or Thesis
• You must be saying SOMETHING.  
• Example: "I am a trustworthy person who holds his family and friends together"
• And you must have evidence, drawn either from your work here at school or another personal experience
• Be done in Keynote
• Be a minimum of 15 slides long
• Have at a minimum the following content slides, presented well, with appropriate transitions and animations - to receive a "B":

• 1 slide with an Introduction (Name, etc...)
• 1 slide with your Thesis - what are the themes/connections between the works you are showing, and events you are talking about?
• 1 slide about Timeline Prezi
• 1 slide about your Bio-Poem
• 3 slides from or about your ME Keynote
• 3 slides about your Testimonio
• 3 slides about your experience so far in education in general, and at EA in particular - why are you the STUDENT you are?
• 1 slide with the Conclusion - what does it all mean about who you are and how you got to be this way?

• Have a single unifying song for the soundtrack
• Have a written narration for the entire slideshow of at least 30 sentences.
• To receive an "A" you will need to cover the content in more depth OR cover additional content, as well as explore and expand your knowledge of Keynote 
• 20+ slides including fancier animations, sound effects, more detailed Alpha channel work, and an attention to details...

Slides can be pictures and/or words

• Open a new google doc
• Name it:  

DRAFT - block ? - Testimonio Keynote Outline & Script - First Lastname

• Share it with john@envisionacademy.org and youradvisor@envisionacademy.org
• the new math teacher is jessyka@envisionacademy.org
• Copy the following Section Categories into the new document

• Themes - we will list common themes from all our work in this section
• Testimonio
• Timeline Prezi
• Me Photo
• Bio-Poem
• ME Keynote
• School experiences
• Anything else?
• Thesis - we will create a thesis from the themes we identify
• Evidence - we will list things from our projects that show/prove/strengthen our thesis
• Outline - we will outline our presentation here, slide by slide, and we will write our script outline here as well
