- Notify John if your drives are not working. Everybody should be backing up to google drive or a flash drive JUST IN CASE THERE IS A DISASTER. REMEMBER THE POLICY: YOU are responsible for the safety of your data even if OUR technology fails. Back up your data!
- READ 1/2 hour per day! Try these sites!

- Reading Plus - TWO READINGS
- DO NOT PLAY ANY AUDIO OR VIDEO FILES
- DO NOT ASK TO USE HEADPHONES
- You may do reading plus the entire 50 minutes
- You must stop after 50 minutes even if in the middle of a reading
- After you have done TWO Reading+ READINGS you may continue to typing.com
- Typing.com - the rest of the 50 minutes
- AFTER doing TWO Reading+ READINGS
- Finish the 50 minutes do ing Typing.com
- Your TASK is to read and comment intelligently and completely on one or more articles
- The PROCESS is as follows:
- Open the RESPONSE DOCUMENT [by CLICKING HERE] and look at prompts you will be writing about
- Select ONE of the articles below - choose the one that looks most interesting!
- John has added categories to give you a general idea what topics come up in each article
- IF an article seems too hard for you to read and understand stick with it for a bit and see if you get it with more effort.
- IF you are totally not understanding what you are reading then move on to another article but remember you need to be
- Turning in at least one article
- reading and writing the entire 50 minutes
- When you have finished reading the article go back to the Answer Document and answer the prompts.
- If there is still time
- Choose another interesting article and enjoy reading it!
- If you want to finish after school or on the weekend, submit another Answer Document for Extra Credit - but make sure it is good work
