- You have 25 minutes to edit today
- You have 200 minutes class time to edit next week
- You have 180 minutes after school time to edit next week
- Periods 1 & 3 your movie is due by 5PM next Thursday, May 25th
- Periods 4 & 5 your movie is due by the end of your class on Friday, May 26th
NOTE to students, especially those doing YouTube like videos:
- Remember that your movie requires editing
- something like the 6 second rule
- If your movie is a bunch of long shots for no reason other than you didn't take or make the time to have multiple takes from multiple angles then you will likely earn an NC
- I don't care if your 'actors' were not behaving - I warned you about that
- Remember that if you choose to use dialog it requires a script and ACTING
- If the dialogue sounds like your actors are making it up on the spot you will likely receive a poor grade
- Remember to storyboard out your ideas before you film them
- If your film is a mess I am likely to ask to see the storyboards
- Remember that you have an entire weekend to REFILM YOUR ENTIRE MOVIE - do not be afraid to do so
- Remember that if you have a C in the class right now your movie needs to actually be GOOD for you to pass the class so...
