- I can reflect on my efforts and assess my own work
The Week Ahead & Announcements:
- TODAY the lab will be open after school for one hour. Students who were involuntarily absent before the break have priority and machine preference
- TUESDAY AFTER-school is the LAST time you can turn in ANY missing PHOTOSHOP assignments for Partial CREDIT
- John will be out Wednesday doing Union stuff
- CONTINUE BRINGING HEADPHONES EVERY DAY - they are essential for video editing - but don't have them out unless you are told.
- Have you ever considered a CAREER in ART? If so let John know ASAP we may have an opportunity for you.
- Watch how-to, cooking, home improvement, or "fix it" videos on the internet and think about how well they TEACH what you are supposed to LEARN
- Watch/Discuss "When we rise" on ABC tonight (and the rest of this week)
- When We Rise chronicles the real-life personal and political struggles, set-backs and triumphs of a diverse family of LGBT men and women, who helped pioneer one of the last legs of the U.S. Civil Rights movement from its turbulent infancy in the 20th century to the once unfathomable successes of today.
Agenda: [65]
- Typing Web Exercise [15]
- Grades and Reflection [30]
- Check Powerschool and look at your grades for Photoshop - you will be responding to them in a short reflection.
- Here's how to understand your grades
- If you have a number grade it is for the work you submitted
- If the grade is blank something is amiss and you need to fix it- likely you simply need to turn it in for full credit
- If the grade says "M" then something is wrong because I expected work that I didn't find and I will likely be deducting a late penalty - if I misunderstood something you can mention it in the reflection or in person outside of class time.
- The independant exemplar grade will be there if you submitted one (that I could tell). It also includes credit for my general assessment of your photoshop skills so it might be higher than the particular piece was eligible for.
- Keep your grades open and FILL OUT THIS REFLECTION
- Getting ready for the Cell Phone Photo & Video Unit
- Making sure we don't run out of storage and can get our photos and videos on to the computers at school!
- Installing Google Photos & turning on automatic backup [20]
