Testimonio Keynote: Day 6




Learning Target(s):  I can complete one of my "I am the student..." slides each day this week
Announcements: 


    • NO HEADPHONES OR ELECTRONICS WITHOUT ASKING * NO STREAMING MEDIA *
    Homework: Finish typing everything that needs typing - put them in the organizer if you can BUT GET THEM FINISHED

    Do some work, in THIS order of priority
    1. Finish typing three "I am the student..." paragraphs
    2. Finish typing your Mathography
      • "Describe your memories as a math student from kindergarten until now.  WHY ARE YOU THE MATH STUDENT YOU ARE TODAY?  Use examples from your school math experiences."
    3. Using the 3-column organizer convert each paragraph into ascript  and slide outline 
    4. Consult with John if you are finished putting all FOUR paragraphs into the TABLE

    FRIDAY ROUTINE | Testimonio Keynote Day 4

    Homework: Finish typing your FOUR paragraphs - put them in the organizer if you want BUT GET THEM FINISHED

    Friday Routine
    • Typing TEST  - with technique grades for CWH
    • Check Grades
      • Click on the PowerSchool link in the "Grind" section of the Blog [upper right]
        • Log in to PowerSchool
        • Find your LOWEST grade and click on it
          • Figure out WHY you have that grade and move to the next task...
    • Open Planner
      • Plan for the next 7 days
      • Plan out WHEN you are going to take the time to work on your schoolwork (including reading) outside of class-time.
    • Check your Email and write your advisor
      • Email your advisor: tell your advisor how you did THIS WEEK.  
        • How are your grades? 
        • Did you live up to the plan you made LAST FRIDAY? 
        •  What did you promise?  
        • Did you keep that promise?
        • What will you do better/different this week?  
      • Here is the kind of thing you could say: 
        • Copy and paste this AS A START, but make sure you edit out the blanks and the other choices!

    PowerSchool & Keynote 3: Images, Animations, Masks, Alpha Channel

    ¡Sit Where Your Keynote Is!

    Learning Target(s):  I can motivate myself to success by checking my own grades in PowerSchool.  I can add images and animations to my Keynote.

    Announcements: None
    Homework: None

    Agenda: 

    • POWERSCHOOL
      • When you are finished with your typing test go to John's desk and get your PowerSchool login information
      • Once you have the information go back to your desk and click on the PowerSchool link in the "Grind" section of the Blog [upper right]
        • Log in to PowerSchool
        • Find your LOWEST grade and click on it
          • Figure out WHY you have that grade and be ready to explain it to the class when asked by John
      • Once you are done with PowerSchool check your email (in case your teachers have emailed you)and then open your Keynote and work until John continues the class.
    • Friday Routine:
