WED/THU: Typing.com Signup & InnerSelfie Part 1

 Warm-Up:             

• Turn on your computer 
• (spacebar, if no reaction then reach behind and push the button)
• Login to the correct period

• Open Chrome
• Log in to the Chrome browser
• Go to ea.troublemaker.com
• follow the next instructions from here...
• HI, Welcome to the class blog
• bookmark this site on your bookmarks bar if you didn't already do so
• check your email (did your advisor respond?)
• now, while you are waiting for John to finish getting everyone set up 
• Go to the GOOGLE NEWS website by clicking HERE
• Choose an article and read until told to stop
• change sections on the left if you want
• Be prepared to share out your article (Topic, Location, Relevancy, Opinion)
• READ SILENTLY until told to stop

• Make SURE you are signed in to the Chrome BROWSER checking for your name in the upper right hand corner.
• Sign-Up for Typing.com by clicking here



• Scroll down to the single sign on section and select "sign up with Google" (make sure you are already logged in to chrome)
• Select 2021 as your class

• Allow typing.com to access your Google account

• Click on Account

• Add your real name and school email and check "allow contact" - then save changes

• It should say "your account settings have been updated"

• Click on Lessons

• BOOKMARK this site by hitting the STAR to the right of the web address
• Modify the bookmark if you wish and then save it
• Find the Beginner section and click Begin

• Follow ALL of the directions, use the exact finger and technique  

• Do the LESSONs until instructed to stop
