Monday: Mac 101 & InnerSelfie

      • It must be CLEAR what are your challenges and your strengths so if you are NOT using the Stoplight colors it must still be CLEAR which is a challenge and which is a strength
      • All of your information must be clear and READABLE
        • do not use tiny type, hard to read colors, or overly florid fonts.

Step-By-Step
    Taking the Selfie

    • Use Spotlight to locate the program Photo Booth
    • Push the RED BUTTON to take a CLEAR PICTURE of your FACE
    • Right+Click or Control+Click  the Thumbnail of your picture and select "Export"
    • Save the file, with the strange date/time name, to your DESKTOP (because you only need it temporarily)

      UPLOADING the Selfie to the correct Google Classroom Assignment
      • Go to your Google Classroom (Look in THE GRIND)
      • Click on the correct Classroom
      • Click on the Assignment Name
      • Your screen should look like this:
      • Click CREATE | Drawing

      • Your screen should look like this:


      • Select INSERT | Image
      • Click "Choose an image to upload"
      • Select the selfie from your Desktop
      • Your screen should look like this (your picture with the box with handles drawn around it)

            • Select the Text box tool
            • DRAW a text box on the screen
            • Choose a text color (that you can SEE)
            • Choose a font (that isn't too busy)
            • Type in the box and Voila!
            • NOW, add the rest of the text, working to the end of the period
            When you have finished

              • Share your InnerSelfie with the 9th grade teachers (I have superrights already as the assigning teacher - don't CHANGE any of the other sharing settings)

              • Turn In  your finished InnerSelfie by pushing the Turn In button (you can "take it back" to work on it further anytime before the deadline)
              • Congratulate yourself on completing your first DLE Project!
            • WHAT TO DO IF YOU FINISH ALL TASKS EARLY
              • CHECK YOUR WORK
              • Go back to typing web and take another exercise
              • Read your SSR book
              • ASK if you can do work for another class 
            • CLOSING [05]
              • Check around your table & chair - clean if necessary
              • LOG OUT of your PERIOD
              • Push your chair in, smile at your neighbor, have a good voyage...
